ONTARIO CELEBRATION ZONE
The Pan Am and ParaPan Am Games provided a great opportunity to gain exposure for Ontario Tourism and showcase the province on an international stage. Ontario’s Celebration Zone (OCZ) was created as the hub for celebrations - a “must-visit” destination during the Games where visitors experienced hospitality, culture, entertainment, tourism and innovation.
OCZ was a 38-day, open to public event with a 45,000 sqft activation site along the Toronto Harbourfront, consisting of an outdoor square, Harbourfront Centre Theatre, and West Jet Stage. OCZ had simultaneous multi-dimensional programming and showcased the best of Ontario through; programming for all ages, customized cuisine and refreshments sold from two locations, custom designed inflatable structures as the main square, live entertainment, tourism experiences, interactive displays, and experiential engagement.
From creating the pitch, sourcing the vendors, to gaining participation and bringing together a fantastic team of over 150 staff to execute the Best Public Festival / Event of the year. As part of the Consortium team, Parléview was pleased to produce more than 400 performances and host 500,000 visitors over the course of the event.
